Person centred care is about ensuring the people who use our services
Outings could include attendance at day centres, medical appointments and any kind of activity away from their homes and within the community. This service is primarily for vulnerable service users who are unable to go out on their own or require someone to be out with them for various reasons.
Their role includes providing appropriate care, where required, supervision and support and ensuring the safety of the service users in accordance with Gentle Hands policies, procedures and guidance. The specific requirements of the task may include meeting particularly complex support needs.
We provide care and support from a one hour call to full wrap-around 24-hour care.
Helping you remain independent at home. The carer remains with you 24 hours, every day.
Care, support and housing where clients are supported to live more independently.
Short-term temporary relief to those who are caring for a family member or friend.
Accompanied outings for clients with learning disabilities, or special needs as and when required.
Palliative care at home, for those with a terminal illness making them as comfortable as possible.

1. Passport/ Birth certificate

3. Training Certificates e.g. care certificate, mandatory training.
4. Copy of any other qualifications you may hold.
5. 2 Passport sized photographs for ID card.
6. Proof of address- utility bill/ bank statements within 3months
7. Names, addresses of 2 people who can give you employment references or 3- character references.
8. Provision of national insurance number
9. Provision of hepatitis B vaccine certificate.
10. DBS certificate or Update Service number.
11. Bank details.
12. P45 or equivalent.
